It's not every day you get a visit from a serving Member of Parliament... and then a letter from them thanking you for your time!
Rachel Reeves, MP for Leeds West and Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer, came to visit our kitchen showroom on Friday the 14th of July. She was also joined by Helen Dickinson OBE, and CEO of the British Retail Consortium, and Councillor for Calverley and Farsley, Peter Carlill.
They came to our showroom to find out how we, and other retailers at Sunny Bank Mills, Farsley, are continuing to trade successfully in current financial conditions.
Rachel said to West Leeds Dispatch:
“Seeing the hard work being done at businesses like Truman Books, Arlington Interiors and Mill Creations is a perfect illustration of the talent and hard work that we need to spur our economy into better days.”
Rachel's thank you letter reads:
"Dear Richard and team,
I wanted to write to express my thanks to you for welcoming Helen Dickinson, Cllr Peter Carlill and myself to Arlington Interiors earlier this month.
It was great to learn about your business model, and to see a wonderful example of a local company selling high-quality products all over the world.
I enjoyed the visit and hearing about your experience since mvoing to the Mill. I wish you and your team all the very best for the future.
Best Wishes,
Thanks once again, Rachel"
